Southwest Small Print is modeled after Michelle Leder’s blog Footnoted (www.footnoted.org.) Leder has an extensive background in covering financial statements — she is a longtime journalist who has been digging through SEC filings for years! This blog is striving to meet her level of persistance and diligence in combing through public company filings. Regular postings will focus on companies with headquarters or a large presence the Southwest, particularly in Arizona.
Rebecca McClay, a former business reporter for The Gazette in Maryland, is a graduate journalism student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
